    Cheryl Marshall, MLIS began her tenure at Rockwood as an Underwriting Assistant in 2009. She was hired to support the agency’s portfolio of Not-For-Profit D&O business. Ms. Marshall was promoted to Underwriter the following year. Within eighteen months she was able to quadruple the size of the portfolio. Ms. Marshall’s responsibilities have since been expanded to include several other management liability products, including Private Company D&O, Employment Practices Liability, and Fiduciary Liability.

    The outside pressures from regulatory, economic, and legal environments shape new and emerging insurance solutions. These changes motivate Ms. Marshall to broaden her knowledge through continuous learning and resource-sharing opportunities. Her goal is to offer her clients a reputable product to meet their needs from the diverse markets available. Building relationships with brokers and the insured is just as important to Ms. Marshall, as well as utilizing tools to make Not-For-Profit and privately held For-Profit companies aware of the importance of Management Liability coverage. Looking for the needs of and creating opportunities for her clients result in business growth for the organization.

    Prior to Rockwood, Ms. Marshall held several positions in the insurance industry. Previous employers included AIG, State Farm, and Aetna. She is currently a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals, and the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA). Ms. Marshall obtained her college degree from Lincoln University. She is also a licensed insurance agent.
